Talking Clothes - Waistband & fitting options on pants & skirts - Tuesday, Oct 14th, 10:00 - 11:30

Elayne's goal with these "Lecture/Demo" clothing sewing classes is to help you get started on garment sewing.  We'll talk you through the whole process so you'll be comfortable to go home and sew your own project.   

Each session she will cover different topics.  Often they will be based on a particular pattern, but the techniques are relevant to any similar patterns.  For instance, buttonholes are relevant on many different items, even if you don't want to make the pattern we are talking about.  

This session she'll talk about different waistband options and also about crotch length and how it changes fit on pants and skirts.  We'll use the Garibaldi Skirt pattern and the Free Range Pants patterns as examples.
