Island Hopping Mystery

A mystery clue will be emailed to registered quilters each week in November. The reveal patterns (yes, there are two choices for setting your blocks) will be emailed in December.

Instructional videos for each clue and the reveal patterns will be posted in our Facebook group and in our Studio Y private network.

Island Hopping Details

Quilters register to participate in Island Hopping by purchasing $50 (or more) in-store or online, including fabric, notions, or batting.

Both settings for Island Hopping differ in size (Island Hopping Vacation 68.5”x 86.5” and Island Hopping Adventure
71.75” x 91.75”) and feature seasonal or holiday fabrics.

Our carefully curated kits reveal ALL of
the fabrics we’ve chosen for Island Hopping – no mystery here – you get
EXACTLY what you see. OR, if you want to dig into your stash, we will share a
video (late October) in our Facebook or Studio Y Groups that will help guide you with your fabric choices.

While the name of the quilt is Hawaiian-themed, the design of the finished quilts are NOT. Choose fabrics that appeal to you, and you are sure to love your finished quilt.

travel director for a quilter’s island-hopping tour. Between breathtaking views and fabric-filled fun, Lara finds herself drawn into a decade-old cold case—a puzzle entrusted to her by longtime friend and FBI Cold Case agent, Dexter Ambrose.


Armed with her trusty Featherweight machine, sharp intuition, and a knack
