This is a great way to learn to quilt. It is a "mini quilt" 27" x 27". Before you say "But I want to make a real quilt" think about learning the process. In this project you learn all the basics just like on a larger quilt but it's easier and faster than making a large quilt. You learn the whole process in just 2 hands on classes. Then, when you decide you love it, you can move on to larger projects! And if you don't love it, which we doubt, you still have a nice table topper or wall hanging at the end of class.
If you've never quilted or just want to improve your skills and refresh the basics this class is great for you. If you don't own any tools don't worry. You can use ours to decide which type of products you like best. If you already have a mat, cutter and rulers, etc. bring them.
If you don't own a sewing machine we can make arrangements for you to use one of ours.

- Terminology! We explain "quilt talk"
- Fabric selection
- Accurate cutting
- Proper pressing
- Quarter inch seams
- Half square triangles - there we go with quilt talk!
- Rail fence blocks

- Adding borders and cornerstones
