Creative Connections - August 5th

A monthly gathering to inspire, connect, and share.

Creative Connections is a relaxed monthly get-together for anyone who enjoys sewing, quilting, embroidery, or simply being part of a creative community.

Each month begins with a short featured inspiration from The Sewing Basket. It might be a helpful tip, a new notion, a favorite fabric collection, a technique, or something exciting that's happening around the shop. Think of it as the spark that starts the conversation—not a formal class or project.

From there, Creative Connections becomes exactly what its name suggests.

Bring along a recent finish, a work in progress, a favorite tool, or something you'd like another set of eyes on. Share what you've been creating, celebrate the successes of others, exchange ideas, and discover new inspiration.

Some conversations may happen with the whole group, while others naturally gather around a table, a project, or a shared interest. Whether you're swapping quilting ideas, asking for advice, catching up with someone you met in class, or meeting a new creative friend, there's room for meaningful conversations to happen.

Have you connected with someone through Studio Y, a class, or one of our online communities? Invite them to meet you at Creative Connections and continue the conversation in person.

Every Creative Connections gathering is a little different...because it's shaped by the people who gather.

No project. No homework. No pressure.

Just inspiration, conversation, and community.

Scheduled for one hour, but if the conversations are still flowing, you're welcome to stay and visit a little longer.
