Join Tammy and create the Redwood Tote—a versatile crossbody bag featuring practical pockets, a zippered closure, and a reinforced base for everyday use. Along the way, you'll build confidence with bag-making techniques while creating a project you'll be proud to carry.

This class is designed to help you learn foundational bag-making skills in a supportive environment while tackling techniques that can be used in many future projects.

At the end of class, you'll have a finished Redwood Tote—or be very close to completion—and the confidence to continue exploring bag making on your own.

This class is a great fit for:
• Confident beginners ready for their first bag project
• Sewists interested in learning basic bag-making techniques
• Anyone wanting to learn how to install a zipper in a bag
• Quilters looking to expand their sewing skills beyond quilts

This class may not be a good fit for total beginners with little or no sewing experience.

Requirements

The Redwood Tote pattern is required.

Class Prep - REQUIRED 

Pre-cutting is required prior to class. Preparation instructions will be provided after registration.

Finished Project

The Redwood Tote is a mid-sized crossbody bag featuring:
• Front zippered pocket
• Back slip pocket
• Zip-top closure
• Reinforced base

Approximate finished size:
10½" wide × 2½" deep × 13" tall
